when phone rang it just stated incoming never showed name/number then when i answered call said hello twice and nothing so i was about to hang up phone then a guy in a strange accent starting talking-couldnt unstanded him as it was not english and in back ground could hear people talking..next few hours they call 2 more times  but never answered it. tried calling number back and said number not go thru. very strange they called but u cant call back ..

Its called spoofing.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
