The morons called 4 times from this phone number during the past 2 days.

We have no reason to answer. The caller ID reveals "Out Of Area" ... not any family or friend. So it's obviously just another moronic Scammer! ... Another Idiot  running amuck, looking for its Village!

This is a collection agency called "Allied", which I have heard of before--so it is a legitimate company. However, they do use extremely old data. I had a roommate from over 14 years ago and they some how linked my new home phone that I have had for abot 10 years with his name. They will call anyone who lived with the person they are trying to find.

Just because you have heard of it doesn't mean that it is a legitimate company.  Do you know the full name of this criminal enterprise?

Per my ISP record this number has been calling repeatedly from 8 a.m. CT / 8 p.m. CT has never sent a fax only held line open for 00:03 - 00:07 SEC ... nothing more except ISP says caller name is - SHAKOPEE, MN , strange too , this number they are calling has been a dedicated fax for 14 years . the number is published in phone book and on internet web site as such, sorry I have been no help
