Caller ID listed it as CREDIT EDUCATION. This caller left an extended recorded message about the cost of funeral expenses. It sounded like one of this television ads: funeral expenses can cost up to $10,000 or more, and the Social Security death benefit, at only $255.00 has not been increased in over 50 years. You may qualify for a new program in your state, etc., this special secure line has been set up to help you. All you have to do is answer 3 easy questions to see if you qualify. If you are ready for your first question, press 1 now. My answering machine disconnected the call at that point. I HATE these ads on television, and, since I turned 60 last year, I have been inundated with junk snail mail for the same. Obviously, these scammers believe all people over 60 are total idiots. Please, if you get one of these calls, HANG UP.
