Was contacted by this person as well, I had put up two items for the very first time using craigslist. the next morning I received two texts from this person both by different cell numbers though. She had asked if she could pay with certified check, and me being trusting and not realizing how many scams have been done here on craigslist I at first said yes and gave address where to send check. A little while later, I did some research to make sure certified checks could not be faked, and found out that this is a way on craigslist most scams occur. I emailed her right back and told her I can't accept the check but would be more than willing to hold the items and we could do in person transaction. This way we could transfer the tags and title and everything. Her response was CHECK IS MAILED and that was it. She sounded legit, stating she had kids and hectic work schedule and even said God Bless...the other number she texted from was 610-268-7235 asking if my item was still for sales.
