It's someone from 1&1 Internet doing "follow up calls" about how their service was. HOWEVER, just for fun, if you let them know that they failed you as a customer, they simply hang up on you. SOME COMPANY huh??? This company is GARBAGE! Pure - GARBAGE! They first mess up on getting your services started.. in this case it was a domain name purchase. It took them over a week to give me access to it. And, with 7 phone calls into the office, none of them acted like they had a brain in their head OR acted like they came to work to actually service their customers. When they got frustrated and couldn't figure out their problem they immediately claimed everything was my fault and "Sir, I'm disconnecting this call" - that is if they even were jerks enough to say they were. For the record, they would always ask for a customer number.. this was something that was supposed to come in an email with in 24 hours, and never came. In fact, their system showed I wasn't even a customer on their side yet the domain had in fact been registered. So when they would keep asking me for this customer number I would keep telling them that it's the reason I am calling since they never sent it to me. So their way to move the call to a supervisor to handle what they couldn't,... was to ask for my customer number again.. even better, they can't transfer with out a customer number - talk about losers. So when THIS guy calls from this number and wants to know "how did we do".. and I started telling him the story, he hangs up.
For their incredible service, I don't miss a moment to tell people to avoid this company... stick with a real company like GoDaddy, or name secure or something. I have been in the web business for years and have many domains... thought I'd give these idiots a try.. lol ... never again.
