Called 1:08pm; Caller ID:  "PENNSYLVANIA".
Didn't pick up; VM left: call-center background chatter, then male voice asked "Hello?", then disconnected.  Unsolicited telescammer.

Unknown number, no vmail, random call.

Called number back and got busy signal.

This number calls my house 3 to 4 times a day and does not leave a message.....  Evidently DNC list does not work any longer.

for the factually challenged or low information people who think:

The Do Not Call list is a joke, orThe DNC list does not work, orThe DNC list has disappeared, orThe DNC list is garbage, or The DNC list is useless, or The DNC list is worthless

Try to understand this:
The Do Not Call list works as intended!
LEGITIMATE telemarketers obey the Do Not Call regulations

So, if you got a call from a supposed telemarketer, and if you are registered on the DNC list, what does that tell you?

Can you spell "scammer"?

Can you spell "criminal"?

What else should you know?
The DNC List is NOT a call blocker!  It is not a magic switch that intercepts calls to your phones!Criminals habitually and repeatedly disobey laws.
The Answer!
If you want to reduce calls from scammers, or prevent second calls from these criminals, get a real call blocker.  Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.
