It's the skumbags fake number of the day - yesterday was 610-177-8600, Tuesday was 610-168-9616 and Monday was 800-145-8577. I have received well over 50 calls in the past month...
They are calling to switch electric providers - they call PPL and PECO customers. Unfortunately, until someone finds out who they or a real number that they can be reached at there is no way to stop them shore of disconnecting your phone.
They are blatently disregarding Federal DNC rules and hiding behind their spoofing software. Even if you speak to a real person they will not give a real company name or phone number. They claim to be callingfrom the "Energy Savings Center" - the recording you sometimes get prior to the A$$Clown, I mean human, states to have your PECO or PPL account number ready - and as previously stated, if you ask to be added to the Do Not Call list or question who "The Savings Center" is they will quickly hang up on you.
They are the lowest form of telemarketers.
