Called and said that I qualified for a lower interest rate. He asked for the expriration date to confirm the card and I gave him the wrong expiration date and he said thanks for confirming that information. He then asked for the 4 digits after the first 4 on the card. I then said if you are Captial One, you have this information. I informed him that I gave him the wrong expiration date and he said "that doesnt matter" I asked him to remove my name from his list and not to call back. He asked "why are you making this so difficult" and then  hung up.

Press 1 / press 2 credit card interest rate reduction robocall. It's basically the same old "Rachel from Account Services" scam (albeit with a different name & voice) that the FTC keeps boasting that they've stopped.
