Tried to buy welder through PayPal. I called their bluff, and they dropped correspondence. I should have known based on their lack of product knowledge and their use of what I will call "un-American" English.

Tried to buy cold water spa and pay via PayPal. Poor communication skills. Voice was male, heavily accented, and robotic sounding. No knowledge of what they were buying. Said they lived in NJ, then story changed to they had just moved to Colorado. Was persistent on trying to get PayPal information. Communication was started via text message. Tried to call several times with no answer. When the male did answer the call he was called out as a scam artist and hung up immediately.

Tried to buy an engine from craigslist. Claimed to be paying with paypal, got suspicious when kept asking if I received notification of payment after I said I was 100 miles from home and wouldn't be there for some time. When checked email, message wasn't from paypal at all. Definite scam.
