I got the exact same call from a recorded voice.  These people need to be stopped!!!

We received a call today, that the number 609 738 0944 had called them and was trying to collect a debt owed to Transamerica Adjusters.  Transamerica Adjusters is NOT a bill collector nor do we have anything out for collections for any debts.  DO NOT SEND ANY INFORMATION TO THEM FOR  Transamerica Adjusters.  They also gave the man an email address to send it to of:  Attorney General04@gmail.com.  Transamerica Adjusters has filed with the Sheriff department to attempt to track and file charges. If you receive such a call please call Transamerica Adjusters directly at 877 207 6562 and we will work with you to attempt track these crooks down.  Thank you.

I just received the exact same call stating that if I didnt return the phone call to 609-738-0944 in the next 2 hours that there would be a warrant out for my arrest. I have been receiving these phone calls a lot more recently. This is nothing but a scam and under no circumstances would you be notified via phone that there is a warrant out for your arrest. So dont waste your time with these people and just block them from your phone.

I received the same phone call that sounded recorded claiming they were Kevin Williams from the Attorney General's office and I had 2 hours to return the call or a warrant would be issued for my arrest and the police would be at my door shortly.  The name of the company was not familiar to me and I never took out a loan.  The phone number is spoofed and not legitimate.  Sad that these scams must work some of the time or they wouldn't keep doing it.

About 3 weeks ago, around the same time of the comments above, I got a call about paying the attorney general or they will have a warrant for my arrest and come get me. They were VERY aggressive and I knew it was s scam. I played along to try to get some information so I could file a complaint. They wanted me to stay on the line with them while I went to wire money. After they would realize I was asking too many details, they'd yell and hang up on me. I kept calling back! Finally, they got so upset with me investigating that one of them said EXTREMELY inappropriate sexual things on the phone and threatened to come to my house and do those sexual things. They repeated all of my personal info back to me. I tried to make a police report but was discouraged over the phone by the officer and they said they'll never catch the people. They are probably operating from a fake line all the way from the Middle East/India. I'm looking into to filing complaints elsewhere. I alerted the Attorney General's office.
