I have been trying to deal with these people, I have offered to make a payment by money order and I was told they do not accept mail in payments they only accept phone payments.  When I told Eric I would not pay over the phone he started yelling at me and saying that I refuse to pay.  I told him I was trying to pay and he continued to yell at me.  I finally had enough and told my mother what was going on, she called and they continued to yell at her.  I have had enough with these people and have filed a complaint with the better business bureau, and the New Jersey bar associtaion.  From reading the other entries I am really starting to wonder if Lawrence Heckler is even a really attorney.

Whatever you do, don't give them a credit card or bank account number. If I were you, I'd check out the three websites that I referenced earlier in this thread and consider getting some legal help. You can locate legal assistance through any of those three websites.

Yeah, Bud's the best!  I especially enjoy reading the demeaning messages posted here by people who are obviously debt collectors. The nasty and abusive tone of their messages here is a good indication of why the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act was enacted.  :)

You sound like you know what you are talking about.  Where did you learn all of this?

This number called 3 times in 3 minutes on 12/19/07 at 8:45 p.m.  The man on the phone was RUDE and THREATENED me when I wouldn't give him my last 4 digits of my social security number.  Had he been legitimate he would have already known my social.
