A guy who did not identify himself is trying to collect a debt on my neighbor.  He gets rude and threatening to ME.  When I call the number back I get more rudeness from whoever answers the phone and it simply escalates when I try to get to a supervisor.  Eventually they hang up on me.

received call from "Atty Heckler" so I searched on the number and came up with this website.  I get lots of calls from these scammers.  I NEVER answer.  some leave a message; most don't.  if there is an email link I usually email them that they have the wrong number or person and if they persist I will report to their local bbb or even the fcc.  a lot of the time that stops them; but since I screen all calls, I never answer any out of area calls or "unknowns" or unavailables.  sometimes they call you because of a relative's debt problems thinking you might give out info.  be cautious and research the number first, 9 times out of  10 it comes up on a website like this where many people are getting these.  be wary!

Just wanted to say that I noticed the majority of the posts where from 2007-2008.
Just be aware, I just got a call from the 609-570-3039 number today April 7th, 2009. They left a message on my voicemail, the message was all computer generated, no actual human or someone with a pulse. The message stated that this is an important phone call for -------this is not a telemarketing call, please ask ------ to call us at 800-355-0123, thank you and goodbye.

The caller ID identified the number 609-570-3039. I have not and will not return the call as I do not owe any past debts.

From reading the prior posts it  seems that they are still up to there scammming ways, with just with a little more technology.

Atty L Hecker is the listing on the phone...he was rude and nasty about me asking any questions regarding his call.  He was asking questions about my son and wanted him to call his back.....yuck!
