I doubt anyone sold your number unless they know the name your number is registered to and even then you cannot conclude that your number was sold. There are numerous public records which have your name and phone number in them unless your number is unlisted. However even that is not sufficient to keep your number out of certain public records. If they do not know your name, and sometimes even if they do, you were most likely called by a computer that dials each number in an area code and exchange in sequence.
Also, the Do Not Call list applies only to calls attempting to sell you goods or services and even then only ff your number is not a business number or if you have not done business with the caller during the past 18 months. Someone above posted this was from WN Positions which appears to be an employment agency of some type. If there is no fee to you to be placed by them, then this is not a sales call and is not covered by the DNC rules.
