No message ever left. Picked up once and it was a recording saying "please hold for an important message"

A message was left on my home phone.  It says the call is from David Welch (Welth?) regarding some matter concerning my situation that needs an urgent attention and left this phone number to call him.

I did not call that number.  I think it's probably a telephone marketing or debt colector.  I have not owed any momey to any one for the last 10 years.  I don't even have a credit card any more.
