Registration on the US National Do Not Call Registry is permanant.  When the law passed it was for 5 years.  That law has been changed.Now registration is permanant.  Some telemarketers and all scammers chose to break the law and ignore the list.  

Yes, there are alot of ways you can accidentally give someone permission to call you even if you are on the list.  Your creditors can call you.  Charities, even fake ones, can call you.  Politicians can call you. Polsters can call you.

Thank you for the info above.

I also got a call from 609-225-5278 - the guy asked to speak to the person responsible for paying the phone bill, and I asked him if he was from JCP&L and he pulled an attitude saying that as he stated at the start of the call he was from Public Power.  The attitude tipped me off and I basically hung up on him.

Scammers, they use phone rooms from Florida having convicts working for them and the companies do not have any lisences and or Bonds. The past is Bob Griess the owner does not pay them for the work done, so they reenroll them with other companies. Good job

609-225-6236 called trying to book an airline ticket starting the itinerary in Accra!  Picture me as Dr. Evil with my pinky by my mouth:  "RIGHT!"  Idiot!
