I got 2 calls on cell - 3:14 PM & 5:35 PM - did not have my phone so missed call, no message, did order from Lands End less than a month ago (got shipment already)
This is getting REALLY creepy, if this is Lands End, they need to fix their phone system.

I just read your post from Oct. 2007 about getting a phone call from someone (608-935-6955) claiming to be Land's End and wanting to send you a camera, etc. I received a call today by the same number but my voice mail got it and they didn't leave a message. When I did a reverse look up on the number it also said Dodgeville, WI.
By any chance did you ever contact lands End about this or follow up in anyway to get further info.? The weird thing is is that my phone number is unlisted but I did just visit Land's End's website and have ordered from them before. I can only assume that it's either Land's End or someone hijacking the info. I enter on my computer. I would be curios to know if you found anything out about your call?

Claim for what?  In order to get a reward, damage must have occurred.  You are a self admitted customer therefore a business transaction has happened and communication, believe it or not, is apart of business.  These people are not inherently evil, they are trying to make their companies more efficient.  If I walk around my house afraid to answer my phone because of some "bad company" then check me into a psychiatric ward.  I have more important things to worry about.  As far as why I'm looking up this number is because it was on my cell while I was in the shower.  I purchased something from Lands End and if they call again, I'll choose whether to answer their questions depending on what they ask.  Some people need to grow up and start facing life rather than cowering behind rules, regulations, restrictions, the Better Business Bureau, and frivolous lawsuits.
