Wants to give away senior citizen emergency call and sell life insurance. All recording and no options to delete name from list. When I called the number back, I got a recording saying the number is no longer in service!! GRR! They keep calling!

Forgot to add to my post: I pick up the phone, say nothing, then hang it up. That way they do not know they have a "live" number. I do this with all unwanted calls. Eventually, they give up.

Good Thinking! Having a plan can really cut down on those calls! That can work pretty well. I have my landline and cell set so I can mute (or not) as soon as I check the CID, and also decide if I want to let stuff go to voice mail or just ring til they give up.

Get an Ooma phone and add the blacklist option. It works great - we now get 1-2 telespammers a month as opposed to 1-2 a day.
