Unsolicited call from Kirby, the cleaner folks, offering to clean a room free because they "happen to be in the area."  After some conversation they responded to one of my questions by saying they knew calling numbers on the do not call list was illegal, but they did it anyway.  Told them they were lucky this time, but next time they would be reported to the state and federal authorities.  Also told them that Kirby's annoying illegal cold-calls contributed to my decision to never allow a Kirby rep in my house and further, to never buy a Kirby product.  Finally, I asked them to remove my name from their calling list because they were wasting their time and mine.

These people actually showed up on my doorstep one day trying to get me to agree to having some cleaning done.  I told the guy I was not interested and he was persistent that he needed an answer as to which I would prefer.  I shut the door and figured that was it.  Then I Got an unsolicited call from Kirby vacuum cleaners.  Said I had won a weekly drawing to have a room cleaned or 3 pieces of furniture. I told them I didn't want it and they were just persistent that they wanted to come out and clean, etc.  So I hung up on them.

They fricken called me three times in same night and didnt leave a message. The next day twice and no message. Evidently they know they are annoying and just wait for the hapless victim 2 pick up.
