You work for them?   As a general rule it is a good idea NEVER to answer calls you do not recognize, or that you know are debt collectors.   GA is a hotbed of debt scamming groups.

No, I do not work for them.  Long story short, I had an incident with a rental car and there was a claim started between my credit card and the rental service, but since there was a communication gap between them, it fell back on me and went to this collection agency.  Thanks for lookin' out, though!  I agree and usually don't answer calls if I don't recognize the #.
