same thing as others are posting.  Have a car listed on Craigslist as of last week, March 2013 and just a little bit ago I got a text from 607-862-6303.  They want to purchase the car sight unseen and very far away from that 607 area code but they need to send a cashiers check or pay for the car through paypal.

I have a vehicle for sale on Craigslist. A person from this number JUST texted me offering to buy it sight unseen, paying via Paypal. Did a little research...Paypal doesn't cover vehicle purchases. I'm SO glad I saw this post!

Same number, same story, wanted to pay me via PayPal immediately and have a company pick up the car in the AM... is there a way to pay and then cancel the payment? Not sure how he was going to pull it off but the details just didn't add up.

Got a text asking for my pay-pal e-mail so he could pay for a truck I had on Craigslist. How does this scam work? He wanted to buy it sight unseen.
