They can't tap into your phone unless they are people that have access to the server of your phone line. The phone companies should know who has access to what. They are hackers/scammers from overseas calling you to see if you'll fall for their lies, and pay them. Good you should ignore them, block their numbers, and report them to the police.

This number has called me numerous times and has even tapped into my phone. they sound Indian and they act like they work for a attorney or law firm. they call your job and they even threaten that charges will be put against you and even threaten and say you will be picked up too. this is crazy and if this has happened to u make a police report right away.

You give the South Asian fake debt collectors too much credit. If they were smart enough to tap your phone, they'd have worked out how to get you sued and arrested for real. I might list any of those actions among the five impossible things Alice might believe before breakfast, except they don't pass the laugh test.
