I got a call from this number, someone with a very strong Indian accent telling me that he knew I was using Windows and I was having troubles lately ... about 6 months ago the same thing happened, I got a call (from a different number) saying the same thing, I then went along for a while (to amuse myself) and they promised to fix and secure my computer but I needed to pay 50$ for the cd and the only way they accept payment is directly from my bank account!!!! Well.... I said I needed to call him back, he said it was not possible because it's in India, I said it wasnt a problem for me... this went on and he got so mad at me especialy when I told him I knew all along it was a scam... he got verbally agressive, screaming and all, so I hung up... he called back minutes later to call me a f... [***]!  I called the police! The Sureté du Québec called me back to say they got many complaints but cant do nothing as the numbers are not tracable.  So this time I said that I knew this was a scam and never call me again, 30 minutes later I get another call but from a different number... There's got to be a way to stop these thiefs, I'm pretty fed up.

Two calls to my home in Ontario Canada from this Verizon landline number in Binghampton N.Y.

The caller remained silent for a minute then at the end just said "goodbye" in a long drawn out voice,

1-607-723-9891 tried to call my cell today. It rang once and hung up. Then immediately tried to call again, but this time Withheld Name and Number. I pressed Reject to end the ringing. Obviously I was not about to call them back. Good luck trying to stop this caller.
