Another CL SCAMMER.
Selling a car on CL. Ask for a direct e-mail address AND phone number in ad to weed out scammers.
Receive a reply from a Ruth Bick w/only an anonymous CL address and phone number, 607-244-9621, sent in the middle of the night.
Call the next morning. A man answers who says there is no Ruth Bick and that I must have dialed the wrong number as I've reached his cell phone. After verifying that I've dialed correctly, acknowledges that Ruth Bick is an alias and that he responded to my ad. Claims he sent me his direct e-mail address, which he did not. Then starts busting chops and asks why I need his direct e-mail address, etc. Told him it is to weed out scammers (like him!) and then hung up.
