My wife answered an advertisement on Craigslist and message stated that car was being handled through eBay. I called the eBay customer support number and a guy with an accent answered. He explains that in order to protect both parties, the transaction would be handled through 'Green-dot' cards. My wife took cash out of the bank and purchased 5 Green-dots because each card has a maximum of $500; do the math - (4) cards at $500 plus (1) at $300=$2300.00. I called the eBay Customer Support number again and the same guy asked for the numbers of each card. Soon afterward, I received another email saying the delivery process has been started and the car will arrive by 10am on Friday. I should have known better but my wife and I got scammed. I am angry because the money came from my auto accident settlement and I did not get much more. I have struggled with transportation for quite a while and now this; where is the justice?
