So this is the new way they are trying to get people to pick up the phone? We get at least 10 calls daily from debt collectors, and we've never even carried a balance on a credit card in 20 years.  It got worse when we answered and told them they had the wrong number.  Then they started calling more frequently and from all over.  "Gawd! We have a live person!" This is just so WRONG. How do you stop it?

It's Rodale inc. who sells magazines (i.e. Womens Health, Bicycling, etc.) They are very sneaky putting all kinds of titles under their caller id. I don't like that type of business practice! I don't need to be tricked into answering your call!!!

It’s not the NRA , (National Rifle Assoc), it's not Leslie Chavez, and never give
(or do), anything for American Heart Assoc. AHA, American Diabetes Assoc. ADA,
or American Lung Association, ALA.  They all use commercial fund raising services.  
Robot calls are made to see what times you answer your phone, telemarketers
get the report times and start to call you.  
Talk to them if you’re lonely but remember,,,,,,  THEY ONLY WANT YOUR
MONEY,  it’s their 50% commission that keeps them calling!
Do get caller ID, buy an answering machine, or change your number because
calls start from 8:01 AM to 8:59 PM, seven days a week.  I'm terminating our
landline soon and will start to use cell a phone.

Idiots called for the 3rd time in as many days.  This time left a pre-recorded message about a "new product opportuntiy" and they said they'd call back.  I hope not.  Phone number they called has been registered with Do Not Call registry since 2009.  Complaint filed with Feds.

Received call on 3/20/12 at 11:11am from Phoenix, Arizona. Didn't answer phone. My number is on the the Do Not Call List but the calls just keep rolling in.
