Called here at 5:45 p.m. today.  I didn't get to the phone in time to block the number but will if they call again.  They hung up after the outgoing message began to play.  Caller I.D. said "out of the area" and the number.

Called gain today.  See had typo (ITHINK) in prior warning.  It was from MS.   not MD.  According to other messages, one of those yes scammers.  Good grief.  Sorry, Fred below.

I am so fed up with these calls. When I do answer one of these calls I say "you've reached the Christian County Sheriffs Department, how may I direct your call." They hang up quick.

Caller ID, "Unavailable",  Best thing we ever did as for the phone service, "Caller ID".  We do not answer "Unavailable" or any other ID we do not recognize.  We turn off the answering machine and just let it ring and let them waste their time.
