This number showed up on my call report. The call was marked (by TrueCNAM) as HIGH probability of it being spam/robo/telemarketing. After having the same landline number for 30 years I had my number ported over to my VoIP provider. My phone now does not ring for these type calls. It's not foolproof but it has really cut down on the number of calls I get since I have these calls routed to a SIT (not-in-service tone and recording). Since the telephone industry can't seem to devise a way to require valid callerID's we must use what ever means we can to thwart telemarketers. I waste the telemarketers time whenever I can, so should you. Don't get mad, get even!

I did not answer and they left no message. Probably a robo caller/scam artist. I blocked them.

A fella with an accent similar to Indian accent said his name was Jason calling from Medicare Providers about whether or not I still had pain in my lower back. I asked him if this was M_n_H, the name of a person I was expecting to call and he said no, it was jason from Medicare Providers. I asked what was Medicare Providers and he hung up. Caller ID said Crystal Spring MS.

I know that the "yes" scam has been widely publicized, but I doubt if it could really work. First, they would have to have a voice print to prove that it was you, and second, why call you to get a "yes" when they could record their own "yes."

I forgot to add that I did look it up on Snopes.
