I called number because I received a very large check and was trying to know why & what it was for?

I received a very large check and was trying to know why & what it was for. I called David Turner and spoke with him and confim that I had won a large amount of money from Multi-State Lottery Association and he request that it was for the attorney fee and insurance, and once deposit into my account, to callhim back and he will let me know what I needed to do from that point. I deposit the checkin one of my many backs that had very little money the account just in case it was a schame. The bank ran check and everything seem to be ok, until David Turner requst tht one I deposit in my account to call him back and , I did and then tol me to go back up to the bank and withdraw $6500 for the attorney fee, once I got the $6500 to call him back and he will forward me over to the claim dept to claim prize and within 24 hrs prize potrol and attorney will collectthe $6500 and bring me my BIG winnings and talk abount taxes. Thought everything was okay, bank gve me $5000 of the the check that was deposit and an hour later called and request I bring money back because the check that was given to me was fake and was a fraud check.  David Turner is name associated with the #587-719-0267

I deposit the check in one of my many banks that had very little money in the account just in case it was a schame. The bank ran check and everything seem to be ok, Once money cleared I called Mr David Turner back to let him know the check was deposited , He requst that once I deposit in my account to call him back and , I did and then told me to go back up to the bank and withdraw $6500 for the attorney fee, once I got the $6500 to call him back and he will forward me over to the claim dept to claim prize and within 24 hrs prize potrol and attorney will collect the $6500 and bring me my BIG winnings to my house and talk abount taxes. FIRST, have you even entered a "multi-state lottery"? If not, why would you think that you won a lottery that you did not enter?

What information did you give that he "verified"?  How much were you supposed to receive for your $6,500?

You have managed to dodge a bullet! Why would you do what a total stranger would ask you to do, without verifying anything?  WHAT do you do for a living? You very nearly learned a very expensive lesson!

I did not receive a call  from this number. I received a check for $7000.00 in the mail and told to call a Emma Thorne for futher information. Thankfully I saw a reply from another person with the same information that I was given.  I still have the check and do not intend to deposit in any account. The check has been voided and I will keep it for my files. #1-587-719-0267 and 1-519-788-0937.
