Caller said he was from IRS and then Social Security. Wanted to know about checks and amounts.

I missed a call from this number, when I returned the call an automated message stated that no one was available to take my call...all representatives were unavailable but they did give the option to be placed on the DO NOT CALL list by pushing #5.  I, of course, pushed #5.

Just now got a call from this number, but blocked the call.  So glad I did after reading these comments.  PURE SCAM!!!

After I said hello, they hung up. Assuming scam. It is a local number, which is why I answered.
