People, if your number is on the National Do Not Call list, and it's been there for over 30 days, the punishment for making the solicitation calls to your phone, is pretty severe.
Michigan Law states: a person who knowingly or intentionally violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 6 months or a fine of not more than $500.00, or both.
The judging party, has the right to alternatively hit them with the Federal fine, of $16,000 per violation, and there can be multiple violations, for instance if calling after the legal time-of-day limit, the fine will be $32,000.
