My caller id read "Information Man" for this one.  I recently cut my landline and have an internet telephone system.  It works great, and the best part is that I can create a blacklist online so that all of these guys call me only once.  I don't answer, just put their numbers in my RAPIDLY GROWING personal never call me again list--got this done just in time for the political season to start heating up!

3 calls from this number since 8:45pm. Each time it's one beep then nothing else. They just called again. It's now 9:34pm on a school night and my children are in bed. Unbelievable. Caller ID reads "research center".

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. Survey's are exempt from the DNC as a rule, but you can still report them if they will not place you on their internal DNC list when asked.

This is a shell company owned by the government. If you get a call from this number you are being watched and monitored for suspected anti government behavior.

Calls all hours of day and night , asked them 3 times not to call my home I'm on do not call registers.
