this person listed a free Savannach cat but upon speaking with them and looking on various sites on the internet, I discovered they are actually paypal scammers. Beware!

Thanks mate.  We came across this one as well.   I am about to have some fun with them.

He is now advertising free Balinese kittens and wants $300 to ship them. When I told him I could not afford it he said he would accept $100 just because he wants such a good home for his "baby". I researched his number on google and came across several web sites where this number is listed as a scam artist!!! He will be getting NO money from me...This is a truly sick and twisted individual.... I have prepared my home for my new fur baby only to be heart broken when I found out it was all a scam!!!! What a sick and twisted individual...

This person calls himself Sebastian Jayden <sebastianjayden7@gmail.com> - called & texted me in regards to two Savannah kittens he wanted to find a home for. He instructed me to purchase a REloadit card and to provide him with the serial number from the back of it so he could pay a courier service to ship them to me. He gave his address as 400 brookes side blvd richmond 23227 VA - this is exactly as he sent it to me. I just felt that it was a hinky - I have been known to give valuable animals away in order to find a good home for them rather than sell them to the highest bidder, so the concept is not out of the question - however in a case like this it is wise to look a gift horse very closely in the mouth before parting with your hard-earned money. Googling his phone number led me to this site. Scams that involve prepaid cards can work in a number of ways. One looks like this: A consumer is told to get a GreenDot MoneyPak -- a type of electronic money transfer service sold as a card at places like Walgreens or Walmart -- and load a specific amount on it. Then the crook will ask for the serial number, which he or she uses to transfer the money to another (untraceable) prepaid card which is then cashed out at an ATM.

A person calling herself Carmen Ray is advertising free weimaraner puppies. The ad says she's in Houston, TX then she claims she moved to Fargo, ND. She gives an address in Fargo that is a vacant lot. She asks for $210.00 to ship the pup through uShip and give this number for contact, then claims you must Western Union the funds to a 'branch manager' named Elvis Ndaya Fongwa in Cameroon. BIG SCAM!!! I have notified uShip and the site where I found the ad, but because they are out of the country there is nothing the authorities can do to them.
