I received a text from this number in reference to an ad that I have listed on Craigslist. The text includes the title of my ad and it doesn't seem like a person. I did not respond. Also, the number originates from Virginia and I live in New Jersey. That screams suspicious.

Typical craigslist Nigerian scammer, will tell you some wild story about how he is willing to Paypal you the money + shipping fees to send your goods to his son in Nigeria. Don't fall for this, you'll never get your goods back and the scammer files a complaint with Paypal about how the goods are defective and he gets his money back.
