Person stated they were an office and calling from the IRS.  Second call today with same message but different numbers.

It is a SCAM - no matter how many numbers they use.  The IRS mails letters.

Just received a message (phone never rang) from this number stating he was an officer with the IRS and that it was very important that I return the call due to a very urgent matter.  Then signed off by saying "have a very blessed day".  This is a SCAM because I work as a manager in an office of business and the IRS will never call you, they ALWAYS mail letters and tell you to call if you have any questions regarding the issue.

Same - Stephen Hawking sounding computer generated voice stating "this call is for you" Ha-ha, blah, blah, IRS, blah, blah.
"Have a blessed day". SCAM SCAM SCAM

IRS SCAM:   Called, and left an automated text to speech message, with garbled grammar, which says the following:

"This message is intended for you, this call is from Internal Revenue Service. I repeat this message is intended for you and this call is from Internal Revenue Service. The very second you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney at record to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is Officer Paul Martin and direct line to my division 571-357-5194. I repeat it's 571-357-5194. You don't return the call, and I don't hear from your attorney either then the best that I can do is that wish you a good luck as the situation is very sensitive for you. Have a blessed day.”

The above poster is correct, this is a scam. They are criminals trying to frighten unsuspecting people into giving them money.  Don’t answer or speak to them, block the number, report them, and warn your friends to do the same.
