Telemarketer scam

another in a series of CRIMINAL HARASSMENT calls from a CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION, using multiple numbers (see also 571-642-1304) to defraud the public by preying on generous souls.  These commercial phone mills seek to defraud any gullible victims who follow misguided feelings of compassion and donate.  If you choose to feed their CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.  don't forget to ask how much of a percentage they take and what the charity supposedly receives for each dollar you surrender.  Reported to FTC for CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.  Suggest any other victims likewise report to FTC for similar action

Received 2 calls from this number today (6/9/16), but did not pick up.  Caller ID said Children's Cancer.  Suspected it might be a scammer preying on people's sympathies.  According to "pissed," I guessed right.  Thanks for your input and for reporting the scam to the FTC.  I might answer the next time just to ask the questions suggested and then call their bluff!

They called a minute ago and I did not answer. If it is children's cancer they also called this morning with that in the caller ID. This time the caller ID had the number without spaces. Both times the phone just had dead air then the beep. No message. Same phone number each time.

So far, they have called me from two numbers: 571-642-1304, and 571-298-8285.
