No ring either when I called back 1-800-466-6630 I was told a 100$ gift card would reach me tomorrow morning, this was at 9pm. I kept pressing them for info about their company. The call turned from polite to very hostile the more questions I asked. After being transferred to a "manager" who also had a foreign accent (not that that necessarily matters or means anything but this is meant to be an informative comparison of a shared experience) who swore that they were a reputable business and that for them to be involved in anything "scamish" would not make sense for them to remain in business. That logic although true is exactly what a fly by night scammer would say. Anyway after I started reciting to her some of these posts written about this phone number we were using apparently we must of been disconnected because she was no longer on the line and the call had ended, along with the flimflam attempt to gain access to my credit card number.
Moral of the story be careful ask questions legit businesses should not be pushy or have any problem presenting proof of their legitimacy. Particularly if they call you, that's the first red flag. If you feel at all unsure, pressured, or it sounds to good to be true your gut is what you should trust.
