Message left on my phone said a tax fraud case is about to be filed against my name.  I should call this number back immediately.  Like....sure I will.  Sounds like a rip off I the making.

Mr. O'Conner from IRS informing me of impending suit.  Told him I was aware of the IRS scam and hung up.Vir

Caller (with a significant hispanic or cuban accent) stated there was a legal petition complaint against my name, in the area of tax fraud...and for me to call the number back ASAP to speak to a legal representative....before this case goes to the Court House or I'm arrested..Caller ID shows the city and state to be Sterling, Virginia...I received a similar call once before, and answered the call before going to voice mail....I told him that I was ready to go to jail and for him to come to my house and to send the sheriff...I'm still waiting..that was six months ago...Got to be something to calling them back whereas they obtain information from your number and then follow-on questions to scam the elderly...if it didn't work for them, they would quit calling....inform your neighbors and especially your parents and grandparents...you never know!!

Received the same call as Jimbo...got an "unknown" call a few weeks of the similar nature.  I am shaking in my boots!!...not!!  My caller sounded very middle eastern...

Received a call threatening legal action due to tax evasion allegations.  This item was also reported on the local 6 o'clock news (philly area).  Evil stuff from another set of bad guys.
