Did not recognize caller or the #, choose not to answer, caller rang phone a ka-zillions times until it appeared the answering maching picked up, but the machine is not engaged. Most likely these idiots will continue to call and I will continue to ignore the calls.

It is the Market Place! I mailed an appeal to them and they called a month later. The message said who they were, and that they would call back. So, if you are expecting a call from the "insurance market place", this is them.

It is the Marketplace Appeals Center. If you have submitted an appeal to a marketplace determination they would most likely be contacting you to get additional information and to set up a time for a hearing.

Yes, the number does belong to healthcare.gov. Federal privacy laws prevent them from identify themselves, except to the intended contact.
