Don't worry about them.  Ask them for written proof.  and when they say they are recording the call
tell the scum you also record YOUR calls (whether or not you do.)...basically tell them to bite the big one.

This a civil matter NOT a criminal matter (although the criminals may be this collection agency)...
they cannot send the Sheriff to arrest you,  To serve you papers to go to court, yes, but not
to arrest you.  Tell them to take a flying fudge at a rolling doughnut...only not fudge but the big one!

No one, but the IRS and state tax people (at least here in South Carolina) can freeze your bank account.

I just got a call today by Brandon who works for attorney Mulligan. He gave me my total debt owed and then gave me a reduced price to settle today. I don't have the money and no way can pay that much in one lump sum. He called my mom just before he called me and when I answered he asked who the hell was the crazy lady that he talked to. Then proceeded to call her names and started yelling at me saying how I was a horrable person for having debt and how he was perfect and paid his bills on time. Then he told me he will we me in court and that if I don't pay the shariff will be at my house to seize my property and belongings as well as freez my bank accounts. WTF, can someone help or give me advice.

Same scum who has been calling me using 570-706-8800, I don't answer...they don't leave v.m. so they are trying to fool me by using 570-207-1892! If your number isn't on my list, I let it go to v.m.
