Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Out of Area" which probably means telemarketer/scammer since every legitimate caller I know leaves a message. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Fresno, California using 2 service providers of TW Telecom of California LP-CA andLevel 03 Communications LLC-CA which is a favorite for scammers This is definitely a scammer that is probably operating from a foreign country that is either spoofing numbers and/or using a Voip system while phishing for personal information and running some scam ( i.e. Solar Energy, Green Solutions, Home Improvement, Mac Tech or Microsoft Tech virus detection etc. ). A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.
Related phone numbers from the same area and using same scams that can be blocked also.
