A person identifying themself as John Mejia contacted my elder parents and asked them to send him a $200 payment to pay for their electric bill and to have the service transferred to their new apartment.  My parents are now out $200 and the electric company is still requesting payment for the full amount due on thier accounts.  This person needs to be stopped.

This person called our restaurant. He identified himself as working for ComEd. He informed us that we were past due on our electric bill and that we had 1 hour and 30 mins before the company would disconnect our electricity. He wanted us to pay half of the outstanding bill which was $400. We did not pay this scamer.
