Got a call from this number and they are cons.  Do not fall for their lies.  They will take your money

These people are running a cable scam. They will trick you into believing that they are part of Cablevision or any other Cable company and will pretend to give you a great deal on your cable service then will ask you to get a prepaid card number to pay for the service. They have the ability to spoof the number and you can believe your cable company is calling you. Be careful and if the offer sounds too good to be true, hang up and call back your Cable company directly. Do not give them any personal information.

Got a call from them today also about a cable offer. The first red flag was that the offer they gave involved two payments of $800+ every 6 months which was really odd. The second was that he wanted a money order instead of personal checks when Cablevision always accepted personal checks. Thirdly, he said a technician would arrive after we called back confirming we got the money order. And lastly, this site helped us confirm the scam. So watch out, it's a scam. We called Cablevision as soon as we checked this site.

They keep calling. We checked with the real company, it's a lie.

Caller claims to be a customer rep from Verizon offering a 50% discount on my bill. He claimed to be Julio Perez (with a heavy Dominican accent) and refused to give the name of his direct manager when I asked. He repeatedly cut me short by rapidly offering repeating the 50% discount. To verify his authenticity I insisted on calling him so he gave me the telephone # 559-800-8367 (California #. Not a Verizon #. It's a Majic Jack #). The scamer ended the call by stating "The one who has to take care of himself is you." and proceeded to hang up.
