Received a call Sunday at dinner time, answered the phone, no one was there.  I receive at least one call a day, same routine.

Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Out of Area" which probably means telemarketer/scammer since all the legitimate callers I know leave a message. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Fresno, California using a service provider of 01 Communications Inc.-CA which is a favorite for scammers. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers and/or using a Voip system while phishing for personal information and running some scam ( i.e. Solar Energy, Green Solutions, Home Improvement discount etc. ). A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.
