The same thing happened here in cali. I saw this msg and we told him we  were broke after several calls saying he and his wife were on the way. The guy was vague on info given and acting like he was trying to amuse my hubby. Then the so called traffic accident happend. Thats when i looked up info and found this. The guy has stopped calling now since informed we were broke. He said he was a cousin and made him guess who it was. Sorry they took your money. They should be hunted down like the animals they are.

I received a call from this number. He first claimed he was my cousin from just outside of Houston. Well I said, "I don't have any cousins outside of Houston" . He then preceded to tell me he was my ex and recognized my voice. All along I asked him who he was calling and what my name was. He had no answer I politely told him I was sure he had the wrong number and goodbye. Scam I am sure. Sorry you lost money Mexico retiree.

Caller called about 10 days earlier giving a contact number 626 224 5958, male caller claimed to be a relative of friend planning to attend an event on the Baja and wanted to incorporate a visit on his way.  Told him to call friend. Man called again yesterday from number above - when told she had not arrived he reuiested to stop anyway for distance sake.  Shortly after called again to report an accident, no insurance coverage, agreed to pay for damages but didn't have suffient couldn't leave the scene without payment, feared arrest.  Was taken for $625 dollars.  Beware - the stage is set before the act begins.
