same as above, tired of them! National Do Not Call registry doesn't work either. When I told one of the scammers that I would 'make it my "job" to file reports for 8 hours a day for a week with the FTC' (during the government shut-down), he laughed and said, "Your government can't get its act together, so what makes you think they are going to be able to stop a few phone calls? Think again!!!"

I just got a call from this number a few minutes ago. Silence when I quietly answered. I waited a few seconds before speaking. No reply to me. The call terminated after 10 seconds.

i received a call from them today. when i waitied on the line for a person; i began to waste time w/him because it was a lower your interest recording prior to waiting for a person. he began to ask questions about my [***] which were Totally & completely out of line. it has me really creeped out right now!!! how can we stop these people

I seem to recall, back before 1-900 numbers were mainstream, that many businesses had phone numbers beginning with a prefix of 976, and it would charge you so-many-cents-a-minute... kids-get-your-parents-permission-first, etc. etc.
