The caller ID read: 551-444-5819. A sales representative named "Colby" said the company name was "Medical Alert Services" and I was selected to receive a $400 medical alert system, plus, $3,000 in grocery coupons. All I had to do was pay a $34.95 monthly monitoring fee. What a deal! As it's Saturday, and I had just kicked back after mowing the lawn, I didn't interrupt as he read the entire +two minute pitch. When Colby asked for an address to send the medical alert system to? I gave them the name and address of our State Attorney General's Office -- Consumer Fraud Division.

551-444-5819..."New Jersey" it says on CID... Yes, it's a robo caller telling me I was referred by my primary care physician because of my senior status. First, I'm not a senior. Second, my primary doctor only has my cell number. Yeah, nice try. Another one to report.

I got a call from this number, but didn't answer because if I don't recognize the area code I figure it's a scam of some kind. I tried to call the number back, but the recording said not able to complete my call as dialed.
