Called claiming to be from the New Jersey Law Enforcement Police Officers Brotherhood Donation & Drive Safe Program. They're looking for donations. However they will not take no for an answer, no matter how I explained they don't seem to understand that I'm on a budget and I'm unable to donate at this time. Unless you hang up on them, they will keep badgering you for money.

By engaging with them and discussing your finances you encourage them to keep trying.  They figure they can overcome your protests.  This is a fake charity set up to enrich the call center owners and nothing else.
