Did you apply for a loan with the company calling you? Did they ask you to pay money BEFORE you receive the loan - if they did, this is ILLEGAL in the US - lenders cannot ask you to pay money upfront to receive money.
They'll call it a processing fee, insurance, trial installment to see that you can actually pay the loan back, or you have to pay so much up front because your credit is bad. These are all BS excuses to get you to send them money. And the "loan" that you are approved for? You never receive it and are out the money you send the scammers. Then, if you've been unfortunate enough to send any money and tell them you want a refund, they'll tell you that you still owe them money for a "cancellation fee". Meaning, of course, that you get scammed not once, but twice.
