No, Folks-  I strongly suspect that this is a number-verification system.  Somebody (collection agencies?) pay to have our numbers verified.  Other theories?

Called me @ 8:30pm, no message-first time.

Called my business office last night late around 8pm. No message left. I called back today. The greeting said it is Comnet - an organization that helps recruit members for non-profits. The messages said that my number was supplied by a non-profit organization with which you have a relationship. I do contribute from time to time to local non-profits. So, it is possible.. Don't know the reason for the call though.
