Solicitation call selling auto insurance. Not legitimate. 5 calls in 2 days. Block this number when you see it.

8 times in little over a day, at odd hrs even, and when I called back it was an United Insurance recording

Odd hours that they called never left a message.

They are not suppose to be calling more than 3 times a day and once if they make actual contact with a person. Can only call between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. any time before or after those hours is a violation and you need to turn them in. If you answer the phone get the name of the person you are speaking to and a employee number. Find out where the company is located. Write down the time of the call, persons name, name of company etc. Make sure your phone number is on a do not call list. Then tell them you are on a do not call list and will be filing a complaint. Go to www.donotcall.gov and register your number.

While it is true that they can only legally call between 8 am and 9 pm,  the 3 call a day is an urban myth.  But here are the two laws in question,  If you are right, you are welcome to point out the relevant section:
